About the Project
FRP Live, an esteemed record pool, sought to create a seamless platform connecting DJs worldwide. They aimed to provide DJs with the right music while offering record labels and artists an avenue to promote their music effectively. They partnered with Supreme Technologies to revamp their existing infrastructure and optimize their operations to achieve this vision.

Our client recognized the need for a more advanced platform to bridge the gap between music creators and DJs. 1. Emotion Extraction
To overcome the challenge of extracting emotions from tracks, we leveraged the capabilities of EssentiaJS and TensorFlowJS, two powerful libraries for audio analysis and machine learning. Our team developed a sophisticated algorithm that could accurately identify emotions based on various audio features.
Using EssentiaJS, we extracted key features from the tracks, such as tempo, energy, spectral characteristics, and rhythm patterns. These features served as inputs to our TensorFlowJS-based machine learning model, which was trained on a diverse dataset of tracks with labeled emotions. The model learned to recognize patterns and associations between audio features and emotions, enabling it to predict emotions for new tracks.
By implementing this algorithm, FRP Live allows DJs to curate playlists that evoke specific moods and emotions. 2. MySQL Query Optimization
Upon analyzing the existing MySQL queries, our developers identified areas where optimization was necessary to enhance search speed and overall system performance. We employed various strategies to optimize these queries and fine-tuned the database configuration. First, we identified the slowest-performing queries and examined their execution plans. We then changed the query structure, optimized joins, and utilized appropriate indexes to speed up data retrieval. By implementing these optimizations, FRP Live experienced a significant improvement in search speed. DJs could now search for tracks based on keywords, such as song or artist names, and receive fast and accurate results. The enhanced search functionality improved the user experience and enabled DJs to find the right tracks for their sets efficiently.
